The Lost Temple

An old map found at a car boot sale. A red cross. And a treasure hidden deep inside a Mayan temple lost in the jungle. Your child is the one who sets off to find it.

In The Lost Temple, your child puts on their explorer's hat and heads into the jungle: a bumpy jeep track, a jaguar lounging on a branch, a creaky rope bridge, a river full of crocodiles. Then comes the temple and its traps: a giant rolling boulder, a room filling up with sand, a pit of spikes, a shower of darts… Their first name and photo appear throughout the adventure.

Because the best treasures have to be earned.

A personalised adventure book with your child's photo

Send us your child's photo, add their first name and a personal dedication: there they are, dressed as an explorer, torch in hand, ready to uncover the secrets of the temple. The book is made in France, with thick, glossy pages that stand up to repeated reading and late-night expeditions. Because when they're the hero, they ask for the book again. Tonight, and the night after.

The perfect gift for explorers aged 4 to 8

For a 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th birthday, for Christmas, or for a child who dreams of treasure maps: this book is loved by parents, grandparents and godparents looking to give something truly unique. It's great for reading aloud with younger children, and early readers will enjoy reading it on their own.

From the rope bridge to the treasure room: an adventure full of twists

Crocodiles chasing the boat, a stone boulder rolling down the corridor, sand rising up to the knees… Every page holds a new surprise, and a good dose of humour. Your child always gets out of trouble, with a funny line to make everyone laugh ("I look like a hedgehog!"). Enough to keep young readers hooked until the very last page.

Because a treasure hunt can happen in a book too

Bedtime takes on a whole new dimension when your child goes looking for Mayan treasure. And when they're the one outsmarting the temple's traps, they're never in a hurry to go to sleep. Well, almost.
